Holberton's latest updates about Coronavirus

What happens if a student falls below the 80% overall average?

If a student falls below the 80% average, we first will touch base to make sure there are no underlying issues that we could quickly resolve. If through work, we cannot get a student up to speed, as long as they have been working hard, we will invite them to redo the last trimester. This is to ensure that a student doesn’t move on to more complex topics too soon. This upholds Holberton high standards, while simultaneously setting each student up for long term career success.

Don’t forget: we allow you to later get partial regrades on tasks where you fell behind. This allows you to continue to raise your score even after deadlines have passed.

If a student repeats a Trimester and again fails to meet the 80% deadline, they may qualify for Academic Withdrawal.
