About Medellín

Also known as the City of Eternal Spring, Medellin has established itself as a pioneer in technology and innovation. Named the world’s most innovative city in 2013, it has also become the World Economic Forum's Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution for Latin America.

Global startups have made Medellin their home, including Softbank-backed Ayenda, autonomous delivery company KiwiCampus, and AI company builder AI Fund. Large global consulting firms like Huge Inc, Accenture, Endava, and Globant are also leveraging Medellin’s talent.

Our campus is located in the gastronomic and cultural center of el Poblado, 5 minute walk away from the metro station and walking distance to restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

Campus Diversity

Part of what makes Holberton unique is that we don’t require any prior knowledge of coding, so we attract diverse people from diverse backgrounds. This creates a rich learning environment where people can have strong debates, work across viewpoints, cultures, and conceptions, and celebrate what makes each of us unique.
