"I loved everything about the admission process, it was the most fun I have had in a very long time. I love to learn but never did I have so much fun doing it and also learning things I was intimidated by in the past. What I liked most was the school's engagement with the potential candidates. It makes you feel as though you are part of a true ecosystem."

- Mackenzie Adams, Student at Holberton School.

Our selection process is based only on talent and motivation, and not on the basis of educational degree, or programming experience.

"I liked that I learned a lot during my Holberton application! It was really the most engaging and useful application process I have ever been involved in. I told my friends they should apply just for the application experience!"

- Bennett Buchanan, Student at Holberton School.

About Level 2

Here is an overview of what applicants do during Level 2:

"The admission process was so much fun! When I started it, I had never programmed before - ever. I learned so much during Level 2: the basics of the Linux command line, html, css, javascript, important fundamentals. I learned what tools were at my disposal and where to look for help when I was stuck. Most importantly I learned the importance of perseverance when you think you have just hit a brick wall."

- Kristine Bredemeier, Student at Holberton School.
